Acrostic homework

Roaring and screaming and craving a wicket,
over on over, the crowd at the cricket,
baying for blood with the mob on the hill
yelling and drinking until they fall ill
night after night searching madly in dreams.

Softly and daintily, gliding like ballet
yatchs on the harbour and parking by valet,
keep up appearance regardless of price
eggs of the sturgeon and champagne on ice,
searching for answers to what it all means.
