DREAM ON
One thing always amazes me I bet I sound a bitch,
but I wish for the ability bestowed upon the rich
to benefit from lower tax till in total I pay
very little to enjoy a life that’s tantamount to play.
Fuelling up my Riviera really wouldn’t worry me
when the fuel was a tax write off to tax havens. You’d agree.
If every overseas trip I took was business related,
then the money spent on Gucci could be somewhat understated.
Were my catering costs for cocktails able to be so contained,
then the caviar and cocktails, casks of rum and Krug champagne
would be waived as work expenses wooing rising heads of state
who would one day invest with me when winning wiles reverberate.
But alas this lifestyle’s not for me my boats just an old tinny
and my overseas trips tragically these times is crossing any
water wet which wooden bridges span, connecting land to land
and my champagne is a chartreuse brew, ice cold in XXXX can.
