Homework for week ending 22/7 - FEEL THE LOVE

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Thu Jul 11, 2013 6:15 pm

OK I will kick it off {again}

No! No! Don't apologise - I am good at handling rejection :( but I have to tell you right now I don't.......

FEEL THE LOVE

You don’t have to lift a finger if a housekeeper you have
or if hotel rooms are where you rest your head.
You don’t have to lift a finger if you are the idle rich,
someone else can do the dirty work instead.
You don’t have to lift a finger if you are a babe in arms
for a doting Mum will do it all for you.
Though her daily schedule may be shot and she is sleep deprived
Mother love’s the thing that really gets her through.
You don’t have to lift a finger if you are the family dog
you have human servants scurrying around.
Serving your meals and walking you with daily grooming too
and collecting up donations from the ground.
You don’t have to lift a finger if you are rich or are loved
for both into their clutches have sucked deep
somebody who is willing to fulfil your every need
so appreciate their value and their service you might keep.

I'm still not feeling that love - my poem is sitting here on its own - no one wants to join it. I might have to get Peely to come sing some cow songs :?

Is this what happens when you make the prompts too easy?
