A Different Type Of P'oing

I'm sitting in the sewerage pit as I do the dirty work
While you stand on the outside with that silly bloody smirk.
You don't have to lift a finger while I shovel out the shit
follow up the daily schedule and clean out the stinking pit.

The big cockroach on the inlet pipe still scurries around
then chews upon a long dead toad some other roaches found.
The green frog sits and waits for them to come into its clutches
the brown stuff in the bottom stains everything it touches.

It's days like these I wonder just why I took this work
if I was to retire this type of dirty job I'd shirk.
I could have come in later bunged on a delay start
But I'm just to conscientious with a kindly sort of heart.

a man for all seasons Robere Had my share of clogged septic pits out on the property although I never had to actually get into them and dig them out - doubt I would have handled that - I imagine in caravan parks you have people flushing away all sorts of things they shouldn't

A very topical write and some people reckon we only write about things that aren't relevant today

Maureen even paradise has toilets


Finished off the day with a fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation so all is good.
