Homework w/e 11-11-13 Furphy

Post by Glenny Palmer » Sat Nov 09, 2013 8:08 pm

This tale I tell of Murphy
you can take as real true blue.
Not like the awful furphy
that old Murphy swears is true

He reckons on the turf he
won a race at 12 to 2
on a horse that they called Smerf he
says he won a ton or two.

So I put the bite on Murphy
for a tenner, even two
but Murphy told a furphy
said he’d lost it in the surf (he
can not swim) the lying Murphy
so I told him ‘That’s a furphy’
…and now me and Murph are through!

Sounds a bit like Murphy was the water cart driver.

TTFN 8-)
