Frenzy.

The festival was starting things were really on the move
the crowds were in a frenzy moving with the groove.
The mosh pit was a seething mass as bodies swing and roll
The bouncers just got out the way, Bugger crowd control.
The heat was so oppressive the water spray was used
the front row pressed against the rail their bodies squashed and bruised.
The rhythm of the rock band rung out so loud and clear
there was no room for Banjos, fiddles or ukuleles here.
Memories came flooding back when once my hair was long
a time when nothing mattered except the beat, the crowds and song.
But I sit now in my arm chair and dream sweet memories every day
Ah well I must realise now my youth has slipped away.
