Further apologies, Dorothea. I couldn't resist... (and in response to Neville's poem found here)
I love a sunburnt sailor,
A man with gormless charms,
Just rugged muscled shoulders
And tattoos on his arms.
I love his cheeky dimples
I love his family jewels;
His taut and perky fundament
Lays waste to all my rules.
Salt tang's now in my bloodstream
And hornpipe is my dance;
My heart's forever captured
In this nautical romance.
My eyes search far horizons
When his ship sets out to sea,
'Til my able-bodied seaman
Comes sailing back to me!
