A symphony I knew so well
yet held me still within its spell.
From tide to tide now fast now slow;
the music of the river’s flow

The ferry man so skilfully
did berth a mere four bars from me,
arpeggios from long ago.
The music of the river’s flow

The concertgoers disembarked
as wave tops struck the accent mark.
With pontoons resonating low
the music of the river’s flow

I felt and heard, my senses sharp
the overtones of nature’s harp.
Wild waters dancing to and fro.
The music of the river’s flow

I hate that I confess but so many poets still do it that way - freedom of choice though.

There is no rule that says capitals can't be used for each line. It serves to mark the formal structure; that's mainly it I think. A bit like how some artists do drawings and leave in place construction lines that mark their setting out of shapes and main angles, other artists erase those lines to " finish " the drawing. Or like those mechanical things made of clear plastic so that you can see the inner working.

A few formalist modern poets capitalise lines, so it is acceptable in contemporary use.

Agree rules are there to break.
