Global Warming Fact Or Fiction

"Is global warming real" a question asked by many
I've looked for evidence of this but really can't find any.
But are the cyclones and the storms that sweep over our nation
cause by global warming or figments of your imagination ?

In the history of the world a white sky can hold no gloom
but is it heading for oblivion like some vacant empty room.
The glaciers are falling down tumbling into the artic sea
but is this the unfailing evidence that is there for all to see.

We have no way of knowing what will the future hold
can we not predict what's coming oh we would be so bold.
Our lives we live as best we can in a world that's torn asunder.
we can but seek the answers in the motherland down under.

Bob Pacey.

Since this is a workshop Bob, I'll make this comment, hopefully constructive. The first two lines of this piece have 6 stresses each, the third line has 7 stresses and the fourth has 8 stresses. Then line five has 8 stresses. line six has 9 stresses.
The first two lines sound iambic, the following lines are a mixture of irregular metres.
I don't know if you intended it, but the effect is of free verse with rhyming end words. I could be wrong but that's how it sounds to my ear.

If you intended not free verse but metred verse then there is some adjustment to do to get the stresses patterned out. ;) :)
