Totally agree with Heather and Maureen - the sadness is indeed tangible. A dear friend of mine in England lost her fiancee unexpectedly last week while waiting for further test results, and this poem is uncannily similar to the feelings expressed in her email letting everyone know. A very touching poem indeed Trisha.
