Homework WE 15/06/15 Singing the Blues

Post by Wendy Seddon » Thu Jun 04, 2015 2:08 pm

I want to paint the bathroom and I want it painted blue,
the man behind the counter said, “Ya gotta pick the hue.”

“There’s ‘Sudden Chill’ , a purplish tone and ‘Bitten Flesh’ less bright ,
or ‘Iron Nail’ is quite the one to catch the morning light.

‘Arctic Sun’ is yellowish but ‘Frozen Tongue’ glows pink,
and ‘Blue Frost’ has a greenish cast, so tell me what you think?”

I want it blue that’s all I know, I really am confused -
I pull a face to show my angst, the salesman’s quite amused.

Good one Owly - my husband relates to that as he is a painting contractor :D He has many such discussions with clients who want "that colour like a dress my sister once had after it had faded in the sun" :?

Cheers, Shelley

These home reno shows have got everyone on the tools it seems - thinking outside the square with this one Wendy - try picking white that's even worse  I like your poem and a innovative use of the prompts. Well done.
