Lucky for you it was fictitious  I can well image a Mums anger at her precious flowers being trampled underfoot. A nice use of the prompts taking that walk back in time and looking through 'different' eyes as it were. Well done Trisha

Good one Trish!

It's amazing how people remember the destruction of flowers - my husband's aunt who is now 89 years old, still remembers the time my husband (aged about 3 at the time) crawled under the tank stand and pulled out her precious African violets!! She still talks about it!

Cheers, Shelley

Yes, this is great Trish, and good use of the prompts. At the age of thirteen I went to 'help' Dad in the garden and pulled out his prize tulips by mistake - this I have never lived down!

Thanks Maureen, Shelley & Catherine...I know I would be devastated if my garden was trampled by party-goers. Maybe that's why I have been hesitant to host one at home. Thankfully there are venues for that!
