Am I going Mad?
Can't find David's thread about reading v's reciting. A very interesting thread that I have been following, but it seems to have disappeared. Is it just my computer connection playing up?

Re: Am I going Mad?
..which prompts me to say..
If you were really going mad, would you know it? In this case the 'you ' is a person in general, not anyone in particular. Perhaps, Her Majesty would say "If one was going mad, would one know it?" But you get my drift.
I don't think you (one) would.

Zondrae just tipped me over the edge.......I'm sure I am now 'mad.'

Re: Am I going Mad?
Zondrae, unfortunately many people who are "going mad," as you put it, do know they are not well and this often makes their illness more severe.
I once heard someone remark that being half mad was far worse than being completely mad.
