SHARING AND CARING

NOW HERE'S A THOUGHT - nothing too radical or out there but since we are all in the business of writing Bush Poetry and trying to promote it (if you're not don't read any more  ) and as a fair % of us have our own web pages, blog pages and FB/Twitter pages wouldn't it be a good idea to sometimes showcase a friends work on your page which is as easy as pushing the share button. Don't know why we haven't been actively doing this before now. I am delighted at the responses I have got back from friends on some of Bob's State of Origin poetry and Gregs YouTube presentation of Clancy goes down a treat as well.

Showcasing someone else's work doesn't in the least detract from your own, but it does help spread the words amongst your circle of friends that some of this bush poetry is pretty bloody good. And tit for tat as well - let your generosity shine through. I am delighted to promote Fred's show on my FB pages...OK I am hoping for an intro to The Fiddler but that was not the real reason behind it

I just reckon it's a cool way to get things out there and all for free - it's called networking - what do you reckon?

Cheers

Maureen

G'day Maureen,

I think it is a great idea. My main excuse for not having a webpage is time. Lately I don't have time to scratch myself.
I will have to schedule some time as though it is an outside appointment and get my head around a web page. Both my sons in law have offered to help me - but it is me, who will have to get organised. Once I do this, I'll pm you about networking.

Thanks for the prod.
