G'day all,

Maybe someone knows who wrote a poem called 'Our Flag'. It explains the origins of the different components of our Flag. I have heard this poem several times and the last time it was attributed to anon. Surely someone must know the author.

From what I can find on the web (google is your friend) one of the poems that is often referred to as "Our Flag" is this one by Robin Northover called "Our Australian Flag". Here is a link to Our Australian Flag.

I heard that the New Zealanders are removing the union jack from their flag. Should we do the same?

What do that and you might as well get rid of ABPA and all our heritage but then what do you expect when you let boat people and hard line members from other religions.

Yeah let's replace it with the three-cornered jack.

Maybe the I'm all right Jack is more applicable these days.

As a diehard Republican, I say leave our flag alone!!!!!!!!
