Anyone know this poem ?
There is a scourge out on our highways
enough to make a truckie stress,
As they travel in a convoy
doing ninthy ks or less.
This plague of old grey nomads
our outback roads they over run.
For they have left their base in Melbourne
heading northward for the sun.
There could be caravans or campers
or the most expensive Motor Holmes.
They’ve got their dog or cat or budgie
and their favourite garden gnomes
They will block up all the traffic
by driving 20 feet apart.
cause most have got their drivers license
back when they drove a horse and cart.
