My Grandson 4 year old Charlie (aka Rocket Dog) made his first phone call to us yesterday.
We usually talk and view each other on Skye, but Charlie has suddenly got a thing about talking on the phone (he also has a soft toy, now named Moon Dog)
ROCKET DOG ON THE PHONE
The call came through on schedule like I had been warned it would,
and words that came on down the line, I clearly understood.
I felt a tiny thrill then and my mind jumped up a cog,
“is that you Charlie?”“No granddad, my name is Rocket Dog.”
cheers Terry

Re: ROCKET DOG ON THE PHONE
Lovely Terry. Kids are so cute on the phone.
I have a friend with a 2 year old grand-daughter (going on 20) and she was on the phone to her Nan and the line cut out for some reason. When she was reconnected Addison was hysterical because she had "lost her Nan".

G/day Heather,
Your right, they're very special aren't they. Being a late starter in this grandfather business I've still got a lot to learn.
Cheers Terry

G'day Terry.
A special moment, mate.
A tug at the heart strings.

John
