Re: Finally released!!
Thank you Manfred.
This is the blurb/intro to the bush poetry section of my book.
Australian bush poetry
My foremost poetry ‘love’ is Australian bush poetry, as a child I would sneak away to read and be transported to another era by the greats, those like Henry Lawson, A B ‘Banjo’ Paterson, Barcroft Henry Thomas Boake, C J Dennis, Dorothea MacKellar, Harry Breaker Morant, Will Ogilvie, and many more have left a life lasting impression on me and my writing.
After I started writing my poetry I sought out later generation bush poets and via Australian Bush Poets Association began to read and then came into contact with many wonderful and helpful bards, the likes of Glenny Palmer, Merv ‘the grey’ Webster, Marco Gliori, Carol Heuchan, Ellis Campbell and so many more I could name have helped me in my continual journey to be a good Australian bush poet.
