FORUM SOFTWARE UPGRADE ...

Within the next couple of weeks the ABPA Forum will undergo a software upgrade. This is to make sure we're up to date with the latest security enhancements. Alice is reviewing the project now and will give notice when the upgrade will proceed (most likely over a weekend).

As a result of the upgrade, the Forum will be down for the duration - maybe 2 to 3 hours.

I have ALSO had to increase the complexity of the "CAPTCHA" filter for new registrations. Since Henry Snicklesnorter registered, we've had just under 600 applications, from spammers and other nefarious types, to join the Forum.

We'll be looking at that as well ...

Manfred let me in on a little secret, - he measures up all potential members using you as a yardstick. Along side you I look like the very epitome of restraint and decorum, - in fact I'm sure I recall him mentioning something about me raising the whole tone of the place.

Went on holidays for two weeks and did not even pick up a rod. spent the first week doing shows for charity and the second playing golf ?
