ABPA - Australian Bush Poets Association

We attended John Dengate's funeral yesterday and it was a truly wonderful farewell to a man who was rightfully acknowledged as a national treasure. Probably in excess of four hundred people attended what was a marvelous celebration of John's life at the chapel, with another group gathering at the wake held at John's favourite watering hole in Glebe.
A great tribute to a great Australian.
