Results from Beef Australia Written Competition.
Hi Bob,
As requested, please find following the finalists of the Adult Written Bush Poetry Competition.
1st – The Barraba Drovers – written by Tom McIlveeen, Port Macquarie, NSW
2nd – The Ugly Side of Drought – written by Terry Piggott, Canning Vale, WA –
3rd – Our Yandel’ora Cattle – written by Tom McIlveen, Port Macquarie, NSW

thankyou bob.. for bringing this comp to our attention initially..it gave me time to write a poem specifically for this comp..growing up on a dairy farm i didn't know a real lot about beef cattle ..but it's amazing what you can find on google..the hard part is making it rhyme...
