Official Man from Snowy River Bush Festival Results
These are the official results for "The Man from Snowy River Bush Festival" (2013 Victorian Open Bush Poetry Championships). I have copied from the result list given to me at the conclusion of the festival. It is more detailed and gives the titles of the winning poems and yarns as well.

I possibly should have mentioned somewhere that Corryong was this year's Victorian Open Bush Poetry Championships. I will add that in to the initial post so that others aren't confused.

It was something that was voted on at an ABPA meeting a few years ago when the state championships were changed to include "Open" in the titles. This was due to competitors from outside the host state attending and taking away the big prizes and it was felt that the top performers from within the host state should also be recognised in some way. In Victoria, they decided it would be a nice gesture to give them a trophy. It is up to the organisers in the host state to determine how they will recognise their top performers.Neville Briggs wrote:Why does there have to be a special award for top Victorian.
