Thank you Heather and Neville
Only have Ellyssa now Neville - I lost my beautiful Mahalia on Thursday and she now sits by God's chair not mine, but her ashes will come home to me and her sister this week

Oh dear, sorry to hear that Maureen. Puts a dampener on the celebration.

Thank you Bob and Neville -it does and it doesn't - we have walked that path together every day for 4 years, every day has been full of love and caring and my girl passed away in her sleep - she did something rather peculiar that night and I think she knew she was going. She wasn't sick (as such) or in pain at that particular time but her appetite had decreased over the previous few days and she was spending all her time upstairs with me and I often found her just gazing at me. Better to go in her sleep that the alternative. She was loved and she knew it and she will always be loved - so although I am sad I am OK with it all. She was one of the bravest dogs I have ever known.
