Good story Will, few people in Australia really understand the hard ship of moving any sort of vehicle through sand dune country of our extreme outback, Tom Kruze didn’t think of himself as any sort of hero but just a bloke who won the mail contract and did his best to honour it. It is us who look back on what he achieved who (and rightly so) make him a hero.
Vic I have some memory’s of cab over Foden’s with a thumping great Gardener Diesel six inches from your leg and the cab floor blistering the soles of your boots, the truck museum in the Alice is the place to refresh your memory of when we were young.
