The highest token of friendship between mates is, that one can call another a “Bastard” (or similar). Overseas cultures just don’t understand the term or the way we practice …

Rugby league players understand the concept Manfred.

Had one fella who was in our team who would only fire up if someone sledged him in the scrum so our second rower used to call him names and give him an uppercut to get him fired up.
