The Handpiece made of Glass
Re: The Handpiece made of Glass
Great poem Marty. I remember watching my dad and grandad shearing, the smell of the wool, the sound of the buzzing clippers and the clippety clop of sharp hooves on the wooden slat floor ... thanks for bringing back those special memories.

Yeah I was gonna say your metre is all over the place and the silly bell count is out as well.
I would say that you should never enter a comp Marty and that means the rest of us mug writers would have a better chance.
Good onya mate.

It's a cracker of a poem, Marty . . . and even if you have a change of heart you can still chuck your hat in the ring with it.
Cheers, Marty

Loved it Marty - but felt very sorry for the poor old man!! What a shame they had to blow his cover!!!
Let him hold his wayward dreams, I say!!

It's a brilliant poem Marty with a fantastic story line. You have a real talent for spinning a story.
