Ooopsadaisy. You snuk in on me Kymmie. Yeah....I almost didn't make it! My newfangled bloody I-phone's 'directions' took me through every mountain range on the East Coast....and....thank God I was in the Merc or I wouldn't be heeere. Wet, unfamiliar, unsigned rather radical bend in the mountain 'road', & I discovered how to get a German tank back under control....quick smart. Half me remaining rubber is left on that bitumen. Funny thing though....all I thought as the embankment loomed a foot away was 'nooo! don't bend me caar!!'...and then...as I 'corrected' (rather violently...for the 3rd time) & she was subseqently heading for the precipice, was croc's melodious voice in the distant ether saying, 'turn into the skid'....which I, rather violently again, did, & she bounced back into her original direction. Strewth! It's the first time I've ever lost control of a car, & funnily enough I didn't even get a fright. But I took half a Valium afterwards in case I went into shock later.....It's marvellous what poverty & vanity can do for you. I can't afford a new car...or repairs...& I'da died from embarrassment if I totalled me car.
So you see, my dear Kymbo, cannibals were the least of my worries.
