He’d smiling eyes and white, white teeth -
my heart it felt like melted snow.
His quads and biceps held my gaze,
his hairy chest attracted. Whoa.
Thick cast iron weights on rods of steel
he held suspended o’er his chest
and like a boa constrictors grip,
I felt a tightening round my breast.
Push up, pull down, and then again,
his sweat stood out on manly brow.
I felt an urge to reach and wipe
it off with dainty hanky now
But through the church door to the hall
I spied the soutane – priestly dress
and raised my thoughts to higher things
than Father Sam and his bench press.

No. 5 of the seven deadly sins is, anger. ( perhaps not )
In Solomon's list of seven sins in The Book of Proverbs, no. 5 is Feet that run swiftly to mischief. ( hmmmmm
