SOMEDAY – ONE DAY




Each week has seven days and someday isn’t one of them
so how come we are hearing all the time?????????
That someday I’ll be happy and someday I’ll be rich
and someday I’ll be married with a whole houseful of kids.
I’ll travel someday overseas; someday I’ll own a car,
someday the drought will end and war, and someday maybe far
off nations will find peace we hope – it doesn’t seem bizarre.
But what day pray is someday? None have that answer so far.
They say tomorrow never comes; it’s not one to commit.
The other seven days appear. But someday just fakes it.
