After reading that Marty I wish I could have seen life the way you've painted it. Haven't had much to do with horses since I fell off one at a cousin's property when I was ten.

Doing a poem with a photo I think can work. This one does fine. The photo is good, you could put that in the local photography comp. ( with the poem posted alongside ) should do well.

Awesome poem Marty! Reminds me of all the years I spent helping my wife look after her horse in England. I always had this theory that horses must think we keep them specifically for their um......manure. It must seem to them that every morning we go to their stable and take it away - thus their thinking might be they are doing us a favour every time they present us with it!
