It is cause for concern - but what is the alternative? Just the act of getting on board a plane now IMO is fraught with danger - my perception - worrying unecessarily I have been told by my family but is anyplace really safe anymore???? Probably not, so what choices are left to us. Ignore it at our peril with the 'she'll be right attitude' we are known for - or go to the other extreme.
Suspect you’re right – it’s overkill
but he would bend us to his will
for terrorists we all may be -
to which God do we bend our knee?
The price for safety is now high
and makes many of us folks sigh
and will this fierce protection work?
Probably not for some will shirk
and not be diligent enough
whilst others who are paranoid
will go too far – make us annoyed.
The answer to this I have not
I’m tired of all this tommy-rot –
it seems to me again, religion
brings no peace – creates a frisson.
WTF?

Just write your emails in this sort of tortured syntax and you'll be safe, they won't know what you're on about.Martyboy wrote:submit to this , he we must trust
