In Twenty - Fifteen

Post by alongtimegone » Tue Dec 09, 2014 8:24 pm

I won't enjoy becoming one year older
“cause statistics tell me “Not too many left.”
I’m suggesting then before I get much moulder,
we stop right here so I’m not left bereft.
At the moment everything is going swimmingly.
And that’s the way I’d like for it to stay.
Not because I know I’m still quite active womengly,
though this mouse still plays while ever cat’s away.
No! It’s really that I’m quite a doomsday prophet.
And twenty 15s up there on my chart.
There’s no way that I can rub the writing offit
And I’m really not yet ready to depart.

Bring on the dancing girls ... Wazza

I'll bet you can't recite some of those lines without your teeth in

Neville ... Heather, sadly, you're correct on both counts ... but forgot about sight and sound. :)

Hi Wazza,

I'm in much the same position as you, and hate to willingly wish precious days away.

But after the way this years gone so far, I'm kind of looking forward to 2015.

Cheers Terry

I never wish them to go but I do wonder where they went ?

The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!
