Country Girls
Country girls in jeans so tight
they just seem to get it right.
City girls with makeup thick
make me run away so quick.
A country girl with beaming smile
says come on and stop a while.
The nicest girls you’ve ever seen
yeah every one could be a Queen.
Although the going may get rough
it’s great see them strut their stuff
Amongst the dirt and dust and flies
you can see the sparkle in their eyes.
But when the working day is done
they still know how to have some fun.
Away from the grime and dirt and heat
they make a blokes heart skip a beat.
Leading bullocks, loading steers
or knocking back a few cold beers.
Each day they fill my heart with glee
I hope there‘s one out there for me.
