Crispy Noodles

I was looking forward to them it was gonna be my lunch
I mixed it up and stuck it in the nuke.
Then sat down to do some editing on a poem that I had writ
cause you all know that my cooking is a fluke.

I was sitting there engrossed in poetic words I wrote
changed some lines and put another couple in.
It is good to go back over things ya wrote so long ago
instead of chucking them into the bin.

I thought "Gees what's that smell"? my noodles must be done
hot and sour the it said upon the list.
Then I realised I'd hit the ninety minute setting by mistake
and not the second button ! Gees ya know I'm pissed.

So I'm having crispy noodles cause that's the way they went
and the taste is just somewhat a little burnt.
I'm not one to waste food with all those starving in the world
but I tell ya it's a bloody lesson learnt.

Have a sandwich instead Bob. Better for you and you don't have to nuke it.
