Indeed Mauzy ... Miss "T" was a Shep/Boxer cross ... and the best nature from both breeds ..

Good one Manfred. You've used enjambments and caesuras to make a more conversational voice across the metric structure which I think is a skill that should be used more often by our bush poets. You've done it well.

There's another dog, the cynic. Comes from the Greek word "kynis" which means a dog because the philosopher Diogenes with his churlish pronouncements was said to be whining or snivelling like a dog.
