In purest light no shadow palls the sacred site.
The hallowed halls do honour thee,
and those who fell with dignity.
In imagery, the tales you tell. You set to right
a living hell. A blood decree -
a sacrifice so we live free.
Rest well, oh keepers of the flame. Within your sight
the hallowed halls will silently
sing hymns of sacred history.
Rest well, all those who shan't grow old. Burn bright
the flame that shall not die,
and let the flag at half-mast fly.
Know ye well, our love for you. In dead of night
and light of day, our memory
lives long, and for eternity.
