They do Sue and when it's your child it is embarrassing but when it's someone else's we can smile wryly and be thankful it isn't our child.

Heather I can honestly say out of four kids only one ever tested my measure (the boy of course) but a bit of discipline soon sorted him out. He now has two boys of his own. I think its called Karma.

:D My grand daughter is my daughter's Karma (two fold!) - and she knows it.

Yep, great fun, Sue, and presumably with plenty of scope for dramatic action! I'm still hoping to see you perform one day, particularly with Wasteland.

Yes David, so much fun to perform-this was one of those poems that just "happen". I remember when I was writing it thinking how can I bring it all together? The last few verses just fell into place.
I would love our paths to cross David and I'm sure they will...
From a performers point of view its interesting to note the contrast between the two poems and the different mindset required of the performer. Not easy when one immediately follows the other-that's the measure of a good performer I guess.
Thank you for your comments David.
Cheers
Sue

Very funny Sue - as long as I'm nowhere near him! Must be hilarious when recited too.
