Thanks once again Manny That poem reminds me so much of my early life and how I have now ended up but still like that poem I still have my memories and YES BOB KNEES should be in there because your knees are what commonly give in first and for a man who has ridden and walked many hundreds of miles behind mobs of cattle there is so much truth behind that poem and thanks once again Manny .

Likewise, Manfred, this poem brought memories of my dear old mum just prior to her passing.

I think it will touch anyone who has watched a loved one in the final stages of life, lamenting about the life they led and the person they once were.

Mum was a 'bushy' at heart, and spent her last couple of months confined to a hospital bed, but her thoughts were always of happier times, and she passed at peace with the world.

Wonderful poem, Manny.
