Margaret & Harold? They are who I call 'My Darlings'. They are just everywhere & are sooo lovely. Lucky you.

Now I have to go & make sure I haven't mixed up you 2 bloody 'Martys' in a pm I wrote. Oh I'm getting old....oh dear....

I add my God bless them too,

I received my copy of my four poem performances, It is the first time I have seen myself 'on film'.

Thank you to Margaret and Harold. It is very good to see how I come across. My diction is clear but I don't speak loudly enough and I don't gesticulate adequately. I was very pleased to see that I was pretty close to word perfect in all four poems. It is great to have something to work from or to..... oh you know what I mean.

Meanwhile back to the festival. I am still suffering with this XX!!@@** neck/shoulder pain. I had a few duties to perform today. Tomorrow only the poets breakfast. Then I am free for the rest of the day.

My Ukulele group 'knocked em dead' we had the artistic director of Illawarra and Kangaroo Valley festivals (both of them) come in to see what we were like and both stayed for some time and even joined in the sing along fun. The crowd (and we did get a crowd) loved us . I am over the moon.

The Kangaroo Valley director came up to me today and said we should apply for Kangaroo
valley festival.

Zondrae, did you say XX!!@@** ? I am shocked!

Just as a matter of interest, has the neck pain started since you started playing the ukulele? Sounds like your group is going well.

Heather,
I have been playing for about 14 months and this spasm started about 10 days ago. I was knocked over by a motor bike when I was 18 and suffered a serious whiplash injury. (wow, I can say it happened last century) so I have a weak spot.

Glenny, first I have to find someone to film us, then I have to work out how to get it onto the computer... I have just had the idea that my iPhone will do that.. so it could be sooner than I thought.

Last day of the festival... I'm off........doing 'The Whale Boat' this morning. Looking forward to the pleasure of the company of Greg North. THere have been so many poets we have only had one turn each morning (one poem). two hour breakfasts x 3 days. I also had two 1/2 hour concert presentations and was one of the judges of the 'yarn spinning'.

I think Glenny meant when do we see your poetry performance (didja?) Zondrae?

Good stuff Marty . . . I agree with Bob though - I reckon you could milk that poem for more absurdity and really crank up the choas of the herding.

Cheers, Marty
