Thanks Zondrae - I am trying to replace my elastic bits - getting sick of the safety pins, so feel free to point them out please.

As for my dedication   it is more an excuse to avoid doing the ironing or other mundane things that don't interest me at all although I did make two fruit cakes this morning

That's the beauty of not having to be concerned about anybody else Zondrae I can do what I want when I want these days and love it. The girls don't care

Cheers

Maureen

Fair enough Maureen , Louth to Lithgow, talk about out of the frying pan into the fridge.

You mention your girls...I wasn't going to get another dog, I'm starting to weaken Maureen. I've been doing my walking and I have to pass a fence where a big retriever/labrador ? jumps up on the gate and barks until I scratch her ears and back.  :)

You go for it Neville - there is a dog waiting for you at your local animal shelter, just begging to be your friend and needing the love and care you share - maybe not a really young dog but still with plenty of years left and well past the puppy digging and ripping things to shreds stage.

She likes going for walks, doesn't mind cats and doesn't get car sick - I can see her now and she has your name on her - go get her Neville   You'll won't be sorry I promise

Not yet Maureen. Trouble is there are a couple of yapping dogs around here that are trying to turn me into a canicidal manaic. :)

What a great yarn Maureen. I loved every line of it. I wonder if your local primary school would be interested in hearing it read to the upper classes on Anzac Day?

Thanks Wazza. I have no idea if schools are interested in this kind of thing - not something I've ever explored, but I am so happy you liked it

Cheers
