Wazza I love the beauty and the power of an electrical storm but a fire was started very close to my house about 2 years ago by a dry lightening strike. I was lucky the wind wasn't going in my direction that day. That one clap of thunder so close to my house was very frightening. I was on the phone at the time and didn't stop shaking for hours. My power went off but the microwave light kept flashing. The noise was terrifying. I never want to be that close again. Still, I do love to watch the lightening.
