I think that might slip under her radar if you're lucky Heather . . . she'll see Bob's poem (and as stirring as it is) and say "Ba! Foobaw!" and click off to something else.

Good poems Bob. Looking forward to the annual slaughter! Have my Maroon gear all laid out ready. Madly learning SOO poems for games 2 & 3 for the charity nights at Charters again this year.

You learn them Neil ! I do a poem before and after every game so find it hard to do that.
but still have my original committed to memory.

Haha. Imagine if we were not allowed to write about sport in poetry. Goodbye McDougal, anything Paterson wrote about racing, Rupert McCall would never have been heard of, etc etc etc. what a horribly boring world. Haiku anyone? lol
