Well done Heather, very descriptive and lighthearted.

Ok here are two of a long series of photos taken on 16 Feb 2009 - so just over a week after Black Saturday and the sky was still full of smoke from fires still burning to the north of us and also from controlled burns. Made for some fantastic sunsets. The pointy hill is Mt. Piper and Broadford is nestled in the valley between the house you see and Mt. Piper. Hard to believe it's the same scene now - we were near the end of a 12 year drought then. Now the grass is knee high - I didn't think I'd ever see long grass here again.

Hope you enjoy them Jim! :)

Wonderful photos Heather. !!!! Depends how you look at them I suppose, a reminder of terrible tragedy or just wonder at the colours of nature, whatever the cause.

Heather, well done . . . you've tied that up nicely (the poem, not the fence)

Very enjoyable to the ear and the eye. ;)

Neville at the time I saw the wonder of nature. I still see that in the photos. It was a magnificent sunset.

Thanks Marty. Looks like a tornado went through doesn't it! ;)

Heather :)
