Hi Heather ... just caught up with this one and glad I did. Beautiful! Very moving. I'll bet there were tears a-plenty when it was read by the children.

G/Day Heather I am still trying to contact the leading teacher of the years 11 and 12 that went to France and Gallipoli to find the battlefield where you poem was read. I will keep at it.

David, I use Heathers “And The Poppies Dance” a bit and the last two lines read slowly and quietly have quite an impact on the listeners. It is amongst my favourite poems to recite.

The poem of mine that went to Gallipoli was “At The First Light of Dawn”
