Hi again Allan. I'm not commenting on the politics but the poem itself. I love the way you've written this. It has good impact and makes people think, and actually I think could be applied to many other sad situations in the world as well.

It is lovely to get feedback on the poem as opposed to the subject matter, although I also like the fact that my words can ignite such rigorous discussion.
Yes, it could apply to any situation where someone is left in despair in controversial situations.
