The grey nomads who visit each year got me to pen this after Don who has a dicky knee wanted to dance but his wife would not get up. So he started dancing with the veranda pole. The mention of Wade is revelant as Wade is in a wheel chair.

Just a bit of fun.

Pole Dancing In The Park

There is a place down at the coast
Where you can go to stay
Its quiet and peaceful, so serene
Not far out of your way.

Cool Waters at the Causeway lake
Its beauty is so stark
But mate you ain't seen nothing
If you've not been there after dark.

Strange happenings abound there
After we all go to bed
A weird trance affects some visitors
Like they're not right in the head

When music echo's through the night
And all the lights go dark
There's a feast for all you connoisseurs
Pole dancing in the park.

This dancers style is quite erratic
Like some wind blown Chinese scow
Gyrating like some love sick bull
About to mount a bloody cow.

Twisting, swinging, swaying
Pulsating to that frenzied beat
The ladies can't contain themselves
They pant like they're on heat.

Wrapped around that metal pole
It makes you wish you had a gun
To take away his misery
Then he tears his shirt undone.

He has an animal attraction
A chick magnet through and through
Like a cross between a battery chook
And a dead fly blown Kangaroo.

And he smiles as on he dances
All inhibitions does he shed
But when it comes to dancin' style
Even Wade leaves him for dead.

You can hear a strange click sounding noise
As he swings round' with style and grace
It's just his hip and gammy knees
Popping in and out of place.

Who is this wild strange character
Mate' I know you all want the answer
Why it's Don from down at old Smyth's Creek
Alias "Priscilla the Pole Dancer"
