The concept is good Marty. I always like parodies I think they are great fun. :D

I think you need to get the metre very precise or the effect is weakened.

In stanza 6, line 3 the original includes the words " he set to work with nail and tooth " which
I think you have missed. Typing error. :)


I think if you got this one going well it would be a popular performance piece.

Yeah I agree . . that's a pretty good'un Marty - did you ever read Neville's "Clancy@theoverflow"?
Hey I thought the punchline might have been along the lines of by the time he spent on the phone to activate his new Telstra account he'd grown a beard :roll:
