The Black Dog

The black dog lurks in shadows deep invades your world when you should sleep.
always somewhere in your mind it seems that you can never find
that place where all is peaceful dreaming without the hate and evil scheming.
Close your eyes and drift away tomorrow is another day.


Sleep itself brings some relief from painful never ending grief
but once again I wake in fright enveloped by the still dark night.
The morning comes and brings the dawn safety from the devils spawn.
I rise to face another day for it’s the piper I must pay.

As ever oh purple moderator you are correct. Bear in mind I wrote and posted this before I went for my walk and only just got back. Still would not have picked it up though.


Received Greg Norths new dvd today so will have some entertainment tomorrow night. Just got to wait until the crew go out.
