A Blue Shirt, a Moustache, and a Big White Hat

Post by Stephen Whiteside » Thu Jun 23, 2011 5:09 pm

It might have been a Marty Boy, it might have been a Bob.
They both look rather similar, but neither is a slob.
They're very strong and masculine, but neither is a yob -
A blue shirt, a moustache, and a big white hat.

They don't like cuddly animals, unless they get to eat 'em,
Or send them off to Asia where the locals bash and beat 'em.
They're both so charismatic, that I hope one day I'll meet 'em -
A blue shirt, a moustache, and a big white hat.

I think it is a uniform they all wear in the bush.
Don't giggle when you see it or you'll cop one in the moosh;
A mirror opposite of Lawson's 'Captain of the Push':
A blue shirt, a moustache, and a big white hat.

What I don't know if you are having a go at me and Marty or what Stephen !

I'll have you know I have several different shirts that I wear on a regular basis just because they are different shades of blue is irrelevant.

I am also a SNAG Seriously Argumentative Aggressive Gentleman.

If you think I'm not a slob then you have not seen my car and would realise just how big a task it is to clean it out for Heathers visit.

I do like childrens poems and this is my favourite.

Mary had a little lamb
She kept it in a ( Plastic receptacle for holding water )
and every time she let it out
The Rooster tried to ( Chase it around the yard )

Bob
The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!

Yeah, I thought the slob bit was probably wrong - but I needed the rhyme, and decided to give you the beneft of the doubt...

Phew! That's a relief! I was worrying I wasn't going to hear from you!

You're a lucky man if you can eat steaks in bed and then go to sleep. I'd be woken up by reflux about 3 am!
