my old home during the drought with the promise of rain looming but probably not delivering. Hitler is the sheep in the forefront..my gorgeous boy..Kym knows his story. It in here somewhere under 'Did I ever tell you about Hitler?'

The blue drums you see scattered everywhere were full of our home made lick blocks - probable the only thing that got our lot through the drought along with sheep porridge.

The harshness of drought can only be really appreciated by those who have suffered it, hey Maureen?

Actually Neville...I remember Lake EYRE being full a few times, it seems to be more publicised now though.

I think Lake Eyre was full when I went past about 1974. (Obviously, being only 21, that was in a former life).
